Andre’ from Norway Andre' from Norway is one of the most well known DJ's from Scandinavia. With more than 15 years of DJ experience, he has played in all the major Norwegian clubs and parties and is also recognised as a producer of several concepts. The most well known concepts where Woodoland 94/96, Mambo Club 98/99 & Mid-Nite Sessions in 2001-2005. DJ Andre' has been touring for two years as resident DJ for the Scandinavian Tour concept “XS to the Ravezone", which resulted in a CD release on Arcade / CNR Music. DJ Andre' moved to Amsterdam in 1998, and he has regularly played at Amsterdam's "Chemistry" and Utrecht’s “Club Risk”, including Chemistry's New Years Eve Millennium party. Furthermore he has played in well known Amsterdam clubs like the Supper Club, IT, Sinners in Heaven, club More, The Getaway…. to name a few, and was headlined on Amsterdam Dance Event 2002, 2003 and 2004. His sound is recognized as "Tribal Tech-House", a crossover between warm house and tribal techno with influences from break-beats and a touch of the "Dutch tone". DJ Andre’ released his first EP in 2000, under the name Mambo Warriors; Congo Trippin’. The record was signed on the label X-Trax sub and released by Mid Town Recordings. The record was also licensed for the “Dance Valley at Amnesia, Ibiza” CD 2001, mixed by Michel de Hey. Now he is label manager for his own label Mid-Nite Sessions, which he runs in cooperation with DJ Whale and Sir Ron. Several of Amsterdam’s fines producers as Kareem Raihani(Soulful distortion), Angelo d’Onorio & DJ Jerome (Outland records) has as well produced remixes for some of the Mid-Nite Sessions releases. On the Mid-Nite Sessions label Andre’ has released 6 EP’s since June 2003 until 2005, and 5 more EP’s are scheduled for 2006. Mid-Nite Sessions has a world-wide distribution agreement with Intergroove. InterGroove has been responsible for working with and in some cases introducing some of the biggest names in dance: Timo Maas, Plump Dj's, Layo & Bushwacka, Lee Coombs, Krafty Kuts, Peace Division, Inland Knights and Rui Da Silva whose 'Touch me' hit reached No.1 in the UK National chart and many more.
